Family Empowerment Scholarship | Step Up For Students

The Family Empowerment Scholarship provides eligible students with a scholarship that can be used to purchase approved services or products to design a customized educational program for the student. Adventures in Music is happy to comply with parents who create an account with Step Up For Students.

Applications for new students open at the beginning of a calendar year (between January - March). Hope scholarship and FTC (Florida Tax Credit) are all merging into ONE with FES EO above July 1st, 2024. Until that time we are unsure if FTC and Hope are applicable.

At this time, we are both a Direct and Indirect Provider of the scholarship. We are working with our instructors to qualify every one of them in the Direct Provider status, though, some of them are still on the Indirect Status.

For those working with instructors approved for direct payment status:

Log into your EMA account
Click Marketplace
Click Find Providers
Choose the student you are purchasing for
On the next page search Adventures In Music. Choose the location you want to attend.
Purchase options appear, please select and proceed

For those who work with instructors who are Indirect Providers, we provide parents proof of teacher’s certifications and email detailed receipts to receive reimbursement for services rendered.
