What time should I arrive?

Students should arrive at least 15-minutes before their Show Time. NOT their Recital Performance Time. That is the predicted time that you perform. You should be there for the entire show. Shows are only one hour and we have multiple shows per day.

If guests arrive late, they be stopped and shuffled in once the current performer is done. But it is HIGHLY encouraged to arrive before the show time so there is no interruption.

What are some good things to know?

Please DO NOT leave while a student is in mid-performance.

If you arrive super early we may ask you to come back closer to the start time. If you arrive super late… it will make things difficult and you may not be able to perform.

Attire?

There are three themes for attire. We encourage every performer to dress with one of the following themes. Time-of-Year, Song Specific, or Formal.

Time-of-Year: Christmas, Hanukkah, etc. Reindeer Antlers, Elf Ears, Ugly Christmas Sweater are all ideas.

Song Specific: If you’re playing Cowboy Serenade, dress as a cowboy. If you’re playing disco music, dress disco.

Formal: Suit & Tie, Dress, Smart Casual, etc.

Raffle

There will be a raffle of various items going on during the day. Raffle tickets will only be $1, cash only, and is optional to participate in, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warriors Project.

What should I expect when I Arrive?

You will be greeted by our friendly receptionist upon entry to check you and your guests in. The students will wait with their families in the audience and be called up by their instructor.

Your music teacher, or the music teacher of that hour, will introduce you, your music teacher if not themselves, how long you have been taking lessons at Adventures in Music, and the song titles you will be playing.

After your performance, you will be given your Congratulatory Accomplishment Medal for your contribution of talent.

When should I expect mine or my students’ video of their performance?

Turnaround for the video of the recital is up to a week and will be delivered via email. Videos are recorded by Nature Coast Technical High School’s Senior Videography Program Students.

They simply ask for a donation to their film program for their efforts in capturing these memories for you.

You can make that donation early by clicking here and showing your donation receipt.
