Mr. Lonny Sarao was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey in 1964, and his lifelong dedication to music is evident in his impressive career. With over 40 years of professional piano playing experience, Mr. Lonny is a true master of his craft. He received his classical training from the renowned Frank DiBussolo, honing his skills to perfection. At the age of 30, he decided to expand his horizons and auditioned for the Danny and the Juniors band. His exceptional talent landed him the role of principal pianist and band director, a position he held from 1994 to 2000. During this time, Mr. Lonny also joined Cheers The Band, immersing himself in an array of genres outside of classical music.
Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Lonny has had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the biggest names in the industry, including the legendary Barry Manilow and the multi-talented Adam Sandler. Influenced by the diverse elements of pop culture, Mr. Lonny has explored a wide range of musical projects. Notably, he has contributed to recordings of music for children, showcasing his versatility and passion for spreading the joy of music to young hearts. It is through these varied experiences that Mr. Lonny discovered his passion for teaching, a role he has embraced since 1980. Over the years, he has shared his expertise and love for music with students from various locations, and is now proud to be a part of the esteemed team at Adventures in Music, where he continues to inspire and nurture budding musicians.
